Terms and Conditions of Sale and Distance Contract
Status: Provisional information subject to review under Portuguese law.
Seller and products
The store is operated by TERREIRO DINÁSTICO LDA. General contact: info@terreirodinastico.com and +351 912 431 851. Products are standard closed packs of laminate flooring. Each pack contains 8 boards and covers 1.85 m².
Prices and VAT
Prices shown to consumers include Portuguese mainland VAT at 23%, as reported by the client and subject to accountant confirmation. Reference price: €11.50 + VAT/m². Sale price: €26.17 per pack, VAT included, equivalent to €14.15/m².
Order and payment
The customer may purchase one or more packs. Payment is processed through Shopify Payments. An order is considered completed only when payment has been successfully received. A declined or failed payment does not create an executable order, fulfilment or delivery obligation.
Guest checkout is available. Order confirmation is sent to the email provided by the customer and forms a durable record of the transaction.
Stock and delivery
Stock is controlled directly in the store. When unavailable, a product will be shown as unavailable. Deliveries are made by CTT. Lisbon transport is included and shown as €0. For other areas, the transport cost shown at checkout applies.
Delivery is to the door/street level and does not include carrying to upper floors. Preparation and final delivery periods must follow the published delivery matrix.
Larger projects
For larger requirements or installation services, customers may request a quotation. Installation is not sold as an automatic checkout service.
Right of withdrawal
For distance purchases, consumers have the right to withdraw without giving a reason within 14 calendar days. For goods, the period starts when the consumer or a third party designated by the consumer, other than the carrier, acquires physical possession of the goods. For split deliveries, it starts on delivery of the last good or part.
The consumer may notify withdrawal before the deadline by sending an unequivocal statement to info@terreirodinastico.com. After notification, the goods must be returned without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the notification, subject to applicable law.
The company will refund payments received, including standard delivery costs, within 14 calendar days from being informed of the withdrawal decision. The refund may be withheld until the goods are received or proof of return is supplied, whichever occurs first. Any additional cost arising from a delivery method more expensive than the standard option is not refunded.
The consumer may be liable for diminished value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods. This does not limit statutory rights relating to lack of conformity, defects or mandatory information.
Withdrawal is subject to statutory exceptions. Products made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalised are excluded only where the legal exception genuinely applies to the specific product. No commercial exclusion removes statutory consumer rights.
Applicable law
Mandatory consumer protections under Portuguese and European Union law apply. Final wording on jurisdiction, dispute resolution and consumer rights is subject to review by a Portuguese lawyer.
