Cookie Policy
Status: Provisional information dependent on the actual Shopify Admin configuration.
Mechanism used
Terreiro Dinástico uses Shopify’s native privacy and cookie consent mechanism rather than a parallel custom banner. Consent settings must be enabled and reviewed in Shopify Admin under Customer Privacy/Privacy settings.
Categories
- Necessary: session, cart, checkout, security, authentication and essential operation.
- Preferences: language, region and experience preferences where applicable.
- Analytics: Google Analytics/Tag Manager only if actually configured and authorised.
- Advertising: Meta Pixel or other pixels only if actually configured and authorised.
Observed development storefront inventory
The following cookies were observed in development:
_shopify_y — Shopify analytics/measurement identifier — removed after “Decline”.
_shopify_s — Shopify session/analytics identifier — removed after “Decline”.
localization — language/region preference — remained after “Decline”.
cart_currency — cart currency preference — remained after “Decline”.
This behaviour was observed on 3 September 2026. Exact duration, domain and contractual description must be confirmed in Shopify Privacy settings. The current Admin inventory shows Shopify Messaging and Shopify CLI Connector App. Shopify Messaging’s official listing indicates access to Online Store cookies and conversion pixels; its effective cookie/pixel behaviour must be checked. No Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager or Meta Pixel cookies were observed. Future tools require a new inventory review before activation.
Consent management
Visitors must be able to accept, reject or change optional preferences through Shopify’s native mechanism. Consent must not be required to purchase or fulfil an order.
